Claudia Newberry is a singer, vocal coach & piano teacher who offers in person private lessons in the San Francisco Bay Area and remote lessons across the US. Claudia’s extensive experience spans across Celebrity, International, Radio, Stage & TV. Claudia is renowned as a top professional vocal coach in the music industry and has coached famous performers such as Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 

Claudia has performed professionally as a soloist with both SF Bach Choir, in top jazz clubs and with churches in San Francisco for over 25 years. She was a paid chorus member with the Oakland Symphony chorus and a music director for groups. As a recording artist, Claudia is grateful to have worked with some of the best and brightest in her years in the industry.

Claudia studied at Eastern Michigan University and received a Bachelor of Music Education in Vocal (major) and Bachelor of Education in Piano (minor). After graduating, Claudia moved west to San Francisco to follow her dreams of performing and pursue a career in music!

With an early appreciation and adoration for music, professional vocal coach Claudia began studying piano at 7 years old, and dove into singing at 14.  She spent summers at music arts camp programs and decided to focus on music education in college
